Think of your work as a first draft. Don't expect perfection straight off: get the words down and correct later.
Start anywhere. You're allowed to write the ending first.
Sleep on it and re-read the next day. You'll notice passages that need liberal use of Tippex in the fresh light of day.
Brainstorm ideas onto Post-it notes then rearrange them into the right order.
